Lodging
Overnight lodging is included in all Deer Hunting Packages. (There is an additional $500/week upgrade fee for the NEW Lodge at the Grigsby property). For Upland Game Hunters, overnight stays are $150/person and includes Lodging, meals, beverages, and a free round of Sporting Clays.
On our properties we have a total of 5 Lodges. Each lodge is fully functional with 3 daily meals provided during your 6 night stay, clean, comfortable bedding, and lounging facilities w/TV. A business traveler area has computer, printer, fax and scanner and all lodges are equipped with WiFi wireless routers. The rugged, modern renovations provide a comfortable "down-home" atmosphere where one can rest, relax, and forget their worries in a land of beautiful habitat.
On "The Grigsby", we now have 3 lodges, the Deer Lodge and the Upland Game Lodge, and the recently added NEW Lodge. Click here to view pictures of the New Lodge. This NEW Lodge features 6 Bedrooms, each with dedicated bathrooms (4 single occupancy and 2 double occupancy); a Large Kitchen and Casual Dining area, and Formal Dining and Living areas. A pond is also situated on the property. The Deer Lodge and NEW Lodge are both located in the center of the Grigsby property and are only minutes away from the nearest stand.
The Deer lodge is the home of the famous "Grigsby Turkey", a bigger than life replica carved out of a tree trunk by the renowned chainsaw artist, Carl Higginbotham. At this lodge, bow hunters can practice up by using our tree stand and targets.
The Upland Game Lodge is located adjacent to our 1000 acre Upland Game Preserve. This lodge can easily accommodate 10 hunters. This lodge is home to our Game Cleaning Facility, an insulated building containing a walk-in cooler and outfitted to meet USDA guidelines for butchering of animals. In addition, this lodge has our Open Air Pavilion with its adjacent 5-Stand Sporting clays Course. With perpetual cool summer breezes wafting through its shade, the Pavilion provides a comfortable respite for conferences, picnics, outings, or even napping on warm summer days. Our 5-Stand Sporting Clays Course provides a challenging warm-up before going out to hunt upland game.
CIO is also very proud of the Montgomery lodging. We have to offer a brand new Mountain Lodge right in the middle of the property. This cabin is absolutely a beautiful setting for your deer or turkey hunt. Wherever your accommodations, CIO is committed to your comfort.
