Our year round staff of guides love what they do and it shows! They tend to existing food plots, plant new food plots, monitor trail cams and the travel habits of our monster bucks. Our seasonal guides are professional, experienced, hard-working team players that will do whatever it takes, to provide you with the hunt of a lifetime. CIO is not just committed to the hunting season, we are here year round helping to preserve our reputation as the "most premier" whitetail destination in the world. Through over 6 years of side-by-side efforts, studies and findings with the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) our full-time head guides have become experts in food plots, correct doe and buck harvest numbers and preserving, improving and creating perfect whitetail habitat to hold our Land of the GIANT whitetails.

I've hunted the Grigsby all my life and now live here. Since 1975, I've concentrated on bow hunting and have taken over 40 deer and many turkeys. I'll do my best to put you on some of the biggest deer you've ever seen.

Hello, I’m Chad “Buck” Warner. I was born and raised in the heart of whitetail country, central Illinois. I was very fortunate to have parents that introduced me to the outdoors at an early age. I have accumulated numerous achievements in archery and bow hunting including qualifying for world championships and harvesting several mature deer. I love managing for trophy whitetails, planting food plots and following QDMA guidelines. I believe this is the future of deer hunting, hunters evolving and becoming better stewards of the land. I have a true passion for hunting whitetails, and with 18 years experience I am thrilled to be a part of Central Illinois Outfitters and I will do my best to help you attain an ultimate hunting season with CIO.
